Antelope Butte is a member school of PSIA-AASI, and we have Level 1, 2, and 3 certified Alpine, Snowboard, and Telemark instructors.
Ski, Snowboard, and Telemark Lessons are two hours and are offered daily at 10am-Noon and 1-3pm.
If you are picking up Rental equipment, please arrive at least 30 minutes early. Meet your lesson instructor at the Yurt. Bring a snack and water.

Lessons

Group Lessons

Our group lessons are a great way to try out skiing, snowboarding, or telemarking. In two hours, we can generally have you and up to 6 other people feeling comfortable with your equipment, the lift, and sliding on snow!
We teach to the group level. Thus if there are participants who have never been on snow before, we will start on the Pole’r Express Conveyor lift. Our instructors are trained in finding tasks and drills to work with students in any terrain.

Private Lessons

Private Lessons are a wonderful way to build confidence in a personal setting. Our instructors are eager to work with you.
Book ahead and request your instructor of choice. Consider taking private lessons from different instructors to get various pointers and perspectives.
Walk-up lessons are subject to instructor availability.

Telemark Lessons

Named after the Telemark region of Norway, this skiing technique combines elements of Alpine and Nordic skiing. Learning to ski on telemark equipment improves your overall skiing ability. It forces new skiers who are inclined to lean back onto the center of their skis and sharpens their balance and agility.
We offer new telemark gear for rent. Our instructors are eager to work with you, take a lesson from one of our level 3 certified instructors. Walk-up lessons are subject to instructor availability, book ahead to ensure a lesson.

Adaptive Lessons

Adaptive lessons are available for those with cognitive, physical and developmental disabilities, as well as visual and hearing impairments.
Email snowsports@antelopebuttefoundation.org to schedule a date and time with an adaptive instructor. AFTER speaking with us and when purchasing, please be sure to select the correct date and time of your lesson as previously agreed upon with your instructor! Failure to do so may result in a forced rescheduling of your lesson. Please note: This product does NOT include rentals or lift ticket.
